From The Owner

A love of audio and video since the beginning

Hello! I’m Justin Kane, founder of Audio EnVision. Thank you for visiting Audio EnVision. My passion for theater, music, sound, technology, and design helps me create a unique and emotional experience for each one of my clients. I offer custom solutions to everyday challenges with audio, video, and networking systems. From cleaning up cables around your entertainment system to integrating sound and video distribution throughout your entire home, I offer a wide range of options that can help simplify your home living, while making it more enjoyable and relaxing.

Why did I get into Home Theater?

I’ve always had a passion for technology. When I was a child, I was always tinkering with my dad’s Hi-Fi audio system. I remember hearing the warm crackle and hiss of his record player as he put on classic vinyls of rock legends. I remember being fascinated by how you could control the tone and tibre with only a finger.

I Had an Interest Early On.

Since I took such an interest in music, my parents bought me an electric guitar when I was 13. I played it every day. A year later, I started playing with a neighborhood band. In high school, my interest in music and sound led me to the theatrical world. I enrolled in technical theater where I learned all the aspects of pro-audio pro-video and stage lighting. I designed sound and lights for musicals and plays. I would also fix and maintain the school’s sound system as needed. I enjoyed theater so much that I decided to make it a career. After high school, I went to a junior college where I studied live sound engineering and learned how to professionally mic, mix, and operate musical acts.

I Got Experience in The Cooperate Entertainment Industry

After college, I was hired as an audio video technician for Disney Cruise Line. My job was to operate all the technical aspects of the different venues offering live entertainment such as musical theater, comedy acts and live bands. I loved that job! It incorporated everything I had a passion for: technology, music, entertainment, control, automation, video, audio, and lighting. It was during my years working for Disney that I learned how technology could create “magical” effects. It was amazing how a room with four walls and a ceiling can turn into a shimmering sky of stars and clouds or a journey through another dimension.

I Took The Plunge.

When I left Disney, I knew I wanted to start my own company offering the same Disney-level experiences for people in their homes. I began working with local home theater companies as a freelance installation tech. I learned a lot of things, including which brands and products were the most reliable and highest quality. I also learned how to integrate technology seamlessly into a home without disrupting any theme or decor that the home has. I now have over 10 years experience in designing home entertainment systems and over 20 years in the audio video industry. One of the most valuable things I can offer my clients is honesty and a personal approach to their home audio, video, and networking needs.
